A word about Keoladeo National Park
Welcome to the bird kingdom. Formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, the sanctuary is a haven to more than 375 varieties of birds including Coot Snipes, Spanish Sparrow, Red Crested Porhard, Rosy Pelican and Flamingo. The park is specially famous for the population of rare Siberian crane that arrive here in the month of October.
